"Best Female Costume"を博しました!
うれしです。。。

今日はすばらしいと楽しい。

Everyone, good evening.
I won!!!!
I won the Best Female Costume Award!!
I'm very happy… It was my first time to ever cosplay, and I won the Best Female Costume Award... I'm very happy!
Today was wonderful and fun. Everyone had a good time, and all the preparation I had to do in the morning was absolutely worth it. I spent two hours this morning fixing the wig and the make-up. My cousin, Michelle, did the make-up, and she did a great job at it. We used about 50 pins for the wig. Ouch...
We got to the site at around 11:30, and I was already in costume. It must have been quite a sight; we parked in the parking lot and I had to walk to Tinoco Park. Interesting... I met up with Jansen, Martin and their friend J there too.
Marie came later at around 1:00. She's really nice, and I enjoy her company.
When we got there, I was surprised by the reception I received. Everyone was very nice, and they could tell I was dressed JRock Malice Mizer. Wonderful! They do know Mana様 here in the Philippines! There was another group that dressed as Malice Mizer, but they weren't very good. One attempted a Kami, and she did okay.
At 2:00, we had the parade, and we went around half of UST. It was tiring, but I enjoyed myself anyway. It was just quite hard to walk because of the dress.
A lot of people took photos of me, and I must admit, I enjoyed myself quite a bit. It was interesting. I will come out on TV too! I can't wait...
I realized today that I have a habit of bowing to people as a way of saying "thank you" or when I greet them. Interesting... I thought that faded away after Kobe. Apparently not... But that's good.
There were a lot of good cosplayers there too. All in all, we were 120. Almost all were anime or PS. No JRock exept me and the Malice Mizer group. My favorites were Power Rangers, Chibi Sailor Venus (she was six years old and absolutely adorable!) and Gaara. The girl who dressed as Koenma (and the other girl who dressed from Bleach, I think) were very nice to me. Apparently Power Rangers (Gibs) knows me from www.pinoycosplay and www.filcosplay.tk. Interesting. Gibs did a great job with his performance. He won first place too! I wanted him to win; he was very nice. The third placer was Gaara, and he was great too! Nice arm... an arm of Shukaku. He used the stuffings of his bed... Ouch. They are apparently experienced; Gaara won third place at UP kAME Ulit! which I attended last November (which was my first anicon EVER and where I met Marie), and Gibs has been cosplaying for a year now. No wonder they're such naturals.
CONGRATULATIONS TO GIBS OF PINOY COSPLAY!
Today I brought Kami the butterfly (I have a big butterfly replica and it's blue and so I named him Kami) to the Nihon Nights, for fun and for good luck. I had so much flowers on me; I looked like a garden. But apparently a lot of people thought it was nice.
I was so nervous for the catwalk that I rushed it, though. But oh well!
I didn't look like myself at all! But it's alright. I barely sat down today... all for the love of Mana様... Ah how I love him so. Kami, thank you. You watched over me today and helped me, and that's why I won. From my heart, truly, thank you very much.
Thank you to Ate Michelle and Ate Nitz for helping me today... and my mother for watching and my friends for cheering... and Kuya Bong for bringing me home.
Sofia is so sweet! I'm on the phone with her, and she's saying how proud she is of me. I'm so happy!
Next time, we will bring Sofia and Marie will cosplay. Marie will go as a geisha, and Sofia as Yuna or Gackt. Yes!
Today was so much fun. I won't mind doing it all over again...
Now I'm tired, and I'm going to sleep. Everyone, good night.
